  • Audio Output: The Flip 7 has a total output power of 35 W RMS (25 W for the woofer and 10 W for the tweeter). It features a redesigned tweeter for clearer highs and a racetrack-shaped woofer.
  • AI Sound Boost: This is a new feature that uses AI to analyze music in real-time, optimizing the acoustic output for more powerful sound and less distortion.
  • Connectivity: It uses Bluetooth 5.4, which offers improved stability, range, and energy efficiency compared to the Flip 6’s Bluetooth 5.1.
  • Multi-Speaker Pairing: The Flip 7 moves away from the older PartyBoost feature and introduces Auracast™ support. This allows you to connect multiple Auracast-enabled JBL speakers for a wider sound stage and synchronized audio.
  • Battery and Playtime: The battery life has been increased, offering up to 14 hours of standard playtime. A new “Playtime Boost” mode can extend this by an additional 2 hours by intelligently adjusting the sound output (reducing bass) to conserve power.
  • Durability: The Flip 7 has an improved IP68 rating, making it both waterproof and dustproof. It can be submerged in up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes. It is also drop-proof from up to 1 meter.
  • Design and Portability: While it retains the iconic “burrito” shape, the Flip 7 introduces a new PushLock system with interchangeable accessories. It comes with a carabiner and a small loop attachment, offering more versatile carrying options than the Flip 6’s fixed loop.
  • Wired Audio: It supports high-resolution lossless audio playback when connected via its USB-C port, a feature not available on previous models.
  • Customization: The JBL Portable app has been updated to include a more comprehensive 7-band customizable EQ for the Flip 7, providing greater control over the sound profile.
  • Eco-Friendly: The speaker is made with post-consumer recycled plastic and fabric, and its packaging uses FSC-certified paper printed with soy ink.
